About the Ethics Awards Program:
The BBB, founded with a mission to see that all share in the opportunity through a fair and equitable marketplace, has established this award program to gain public recognition for local businesses that maintain a solid commitment to conducting their business practices/decisions in an ethical fashion.
The BBB Torch Award program recognizes businesses and individuals in the following three categories:

Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence - presented to a business in recognition of their superior commitment to exceptional standards that benefit their consumers, employees, suppliers, shareholders and surrounding communities.

Community Service- The spirit award is presented to a business that demonstrates commitment to BBB community events and significantly helps advance trust in our community.
The Ethics Awards for Marketplace Excellence is open to all for-profit businesses in Central California that provide goods or services to retail and/or wholesale markets. Non-profit organizations or businesses whose primary markets are local, state or federal governments are NOT ELIGIBLE for this award.
Businesses must operate within one of the following counties: Inyo, Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, Mono or Tulare.
All business nominees must be in good standing with the BBB (grade of C of better); however, BBB Accredited Business status is not a requirement for entry or consideration.
